Alexandria Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
2021 Chamber Golf Tournament
September 18 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
The Alexandria-Monroe Chamber of Commerce is hosting our annual “Great Alexandria Classic,” event Saturday, September 18th at 9am. Unfortunately due to Yule Golf and Driving Range being sold, and in current renovations, we could not have our tournament there this year. We have decided upon Valley View Golf Course on Fall Creek in Middletown as our spot for this year.
When I visited, it was a beautiful and seemingly difficult course, shaking up the years at Yule. We WILL be back at Yule Golf and Driving Range next year for our 2022 tournament.
Thank the many of you who have supported this fundraiser in the past, we could not do all that we are able to do without your continued support. We are reaching out to Members, business owners, locals and friends and family so that you have the opportunity to join early!
This year will feature 20-22 teams and many sponsors from the community having fun playing and networking in a town not so far away from our ‘Small Town USA’.
We will have the works regarding prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, 50/50 raffle, longest drive and closest to the pin. Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided. Proceeds go to future Chamber events that promote businesses, non-profits, civic engagement, networking opportunities, beautification projects and helping Alexandria not just live, but THRIVE!
